I need to first explain that my wife works with me throughout the entire process. I should warn you that it is a bit like us adopting you both for a period of time, from your initial decision to use our services to the guests congratulating you both. We then fade gently from your lives.
We offer a free no obligation interview at our home. At this interview we would talk about the general aspects of the wedding, the date and time, the type of wedding you would prefer, any special considerations required etc. We feel this gives you adequate opportunity to decide if I am the person you would like to conduct your wedding ceremony.
If you decide we can deliver the type of wedding that you would be happy with, we can continue to completing the Notification of Intended Marriage. We would also go into more detail about the content of the ceremony. At this time it is normal to pay a 25% deposit.
No matter who you choose to perform your ceremony, I hope it will be a beautiful and memorable ceremony, a precursor to a long and happy marriage.
I can design the entire ceremony, with your input, if you wish. Alternatively you may choose to create a ceremony of your own, I would advise you in this case as to what is legally required in the ceremony. Most often though, we provide a range of ceremony components for your perusal. You may combine these components into a complete ceremony, modifying any parts as you see fit. We will take you through this, the aim is to make the ceremony as meaningful to you and your guests as possible. I don't believe in stock standard ceremonies, unless of course we have a stock standard couple (I don't think that exists).
We provide a public address system that improves both the quality of the sound to your guests as well as allowing coverage of large groups. In addition to this, it allows the playing of music at the ceremony and has an additional microphone that can be used by anyone performing a reading or singing
We will record your ceremony on tape and then transfer it to a CD, which we provide to you. You will have a lasting copy of the ceremony that you can copy and send to friends that were unable to attend your wedding. If you do not have the equipment to copy the CD, additional copies can be provided. This CD can also be used if either members of the couple want to prove what was vowed during the ceremony :-).
My wife normally accompanies me to the wedding, and is an amateur photographer. With your permission, she will take photo's before, during and after the ceremony. She will provide a CD of her photo's and a printout of a collage that she takes great delight in preparing, and another print of a photo of the couple. There is no charge for this service, however she should not be regarded as the official photographer for the wedding.
We normally create a password protected page on our web site and put a selection of these photo's there. This enables any of your guests, or those that were not able to attend the wedding, to see and download any pics they like. We can also add photo's taken by others at the wedding on this site, if they are provided to us in digital format. There is no extra charge for this service.
